Join us next Saturday for a day of Masterclasses to kick start or extend your TRX practice
In this next instalment of our Whole Body Health workshop series, it’s time to explore the TRX! If you are new to this challenging apparatus, or a seasoned suspension junkie, we have a Masterclass to suit. See how we apply the principles of pilates to the challenges of instability and body weight resistance. Challenge yourself to work a little longer, a little harder or just with a little more focus as we unravel the exercises and explore the possibilities over three levels of Masterclasses.
Plus, we’re finishing the day with a deep long stretch, so even if the TRX isn’t your bag, you can still join us to unwind and reset your mind and body at the end of the day.
11am – 12.15pm
Learn the basics if you’re new to the TRX and not sure if you’re ready for a group class just yet! Get the how-to on uses and repertoire to give confidence with the cross training this apparatus can provide. This masterclass will be a combination of technique driven exercises and useful tips and tricks for working with the TRX, either on your own at home or with us in studio. Prepare for a full body workout experience.
12.30pm – 1.45pm
Challenge yourself a little further and really understand the whys of TRX exercises. In this intermediate workshop you will learn more in-depth information on programming and strategies to begin tailoring the workouts to your fitness and wellbeing goals. Multiple programming formats during the session will give you a full body workout experience and equip you with tools to elevate your TRX practice: think cardio, strength and skill.
2pm – 3.15pm
Advanced Masterclass is for die hard TRX devotees! You come to class week in and week out, you seeing amazing results and are getting stronger every class, and most importantly you’re ready to really push your body to the limits with some extreme choreography and intense programming. Think inversions, crazy combinations and endurance challenges galore! Let’s get physical.
3.30pm – 4.30pm
Join us for an hour long stretch session using all the tips and tricks of rolling, trigger work and deep anatomical stretch positions. Unwind the body from the day or weeks hard work and enjoy a session aimed at release and relaxation only. End your Saturday with a session for your deep tissues and an opportunity to relax the body and mind.
