If you haven’t already noticed, we are hosting the gorgeous Elissa of Inner Health Nutrition at our Paddington studio on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Elissa is a Dietitian with 17 years experience, specifically namely in digestive health, women’s health and disordered eating. She provides individualised nutritional therapy, specialising in digestive health, women’s health and disordered eating.
Founded in 2017 by Elissa, Inner Health Nutrition aims to provide a bespoke service where clients receive individualised nutritional therapy that goes beyond expectations.
Elissa has been trained in understanding eating behaviour, and alongside personal experience with yo-yo dieting, empathises with the stress, anxiety & frustration that weight-cycling can bring.
With research showing that 95% of weight loss diets do not work in the long term, Elissa wants you to know that “you are not the failure – diets have failed you”. The cycle of guilt, shame and loss of control with food can be interrupted with a new approach to eating: non-diet Intuitive and Mindful Eating.
Clients of Inner Health can expect their relationship with food to be transformed through learning the Intuitive Eating approach to caring for themselves with food. Research shows that the higher your Intutive Eating skills are, the more likely you are to settle to your natural, healthiest weight, while gaining new, positive, experiences with food.
