Making Moves

Our last month of memories at 129 Latrobe……

Don’t worry! We’re not going far!

Almost six years have passed since we joined the Latrobe Terrace community and although our four walls are about to change, we could never go too far! From Monday 23rd September our new Paddington studio address is:
104c Latrobe Terrace, Paddington

Just 160m down the road, directly opposite Woolies, our new Pilates sanctuary is down the path between the bookshop and Remy’s cafe.We are thrilled about moving into a new space that will allow our business to adapt and explore exciting new avenues for our clients.

What our new Paddington space has to offer…..

  • A new outlook (still with a very pretty view, just in the other direction!)
  • A new environment to inspire and energise you
  • Easy access from Woolworths shops and car park
  • Additional parking onsite
  • Space for additional offerings for the Movement Principle community in the future

Why the change?

Throughout our nine years in business we have embraced the need to change and evolve regularly in order to stay relevant in our industry, engaged with our loyal clients and inspired to keep delivering wonderful experiences for our community. Our new studio gives us space to grow and explore slightly different directions going forward. We’ve redefined what’s important to us (keep your eye our for a fresh new website coming soon!) and we’ve set some new goals for the years ahead so we are ready to make some new memories in the MP Paddington studio of 2020 and beyond.

Classes will run as normal at 129 Latrobe up until close of business Saturday 21st September.

All schedules will then run exactly as programmed in the new space from Monday 23rd September.

We couldn’t be more thankful to the amazing people that we have been lucky to have around us over our time in business. Growth, development, and positive changes cannot be achieved without the support and positive influence of wonderful humans so please allow us to say a few rounds of thanks.

Firstly big thanks to our legendary Paddington landlords of the last six years Leanne and John Demartini of Thousand Island Dressing. Allowing us to take over and transform the beautiful space into a wonderful haven for movement and community has helped us build a business that can continue support all of our clients to this point and beyond.

To our amazing staff! Your dedication and continuing passion for Pilates and people continues to inspire us to make sure that Movement Principle continues to be able to assist and affect change for our clients, and support this beautiful community we have built together thus far. The gift you continue to share to transform and change lives for the better is so appreciated by us, not to mention those you teach each and every week!

To our family and friends, our dedicated support and cheer team in all things business, you know who we are and we couldn’t do it without you. Business is a community and a collaborative effort and we draw on our network of great minds and soothing words regularly.

And lastly to all our amazing clients that continue coming to sessions and supporting us with your time, loyalty and acts of ongoing kindness (who accept on occasion our human and technological errors… ooopppssss) the biggest of thanks to you.

Thanks for allowing us the space for our business and community to adapt and reaffirm our relevancy and importance both locally, nationally and hopefully one day internationally (retreat anyone???). We hope to continue being a part of your movement practice as the professionals that aim to make Pilates a valued part of your life.

xx Anita, Catherine and the team at MPP
